About Us

The Bioeconomy Information Sharing and Analysis Center (BIO-ISAC) is the organization addressing threats in the bioeconomy. BIO-ISAC works with public and private partners as the central resource for gathering information and spurring the development, evaluation, and implementation of defensive tools. BIO-ISAC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, formally chartered in 2021

Since its founding, BIO-ISAC has hosted more than a dozen industry-wide trainings, regional events, and workgroups on digital biosecurity, cyberbioliteracy, and available actions to fortify the bioeconomy. BIO-ISAC has also addressed multi-nation incidents in biomanufacturing, bioagriculture, and data integrity, briefing more than 40 U.S. government agencies and departments. Resources to support industry and strengthen its resilience, from instrument acquisition to instrument disposal, incident preparedness to incident response, and a model network architecture, are available at isac.bio

BIO-ISAC accepts financial contributions and bioeconomy-related instrument, devices and equipment donations.
