About Us

The Bioeconomy Information Sharing and Analysis Center (BIO-ISAC) is the organization addressing threats in the bioeconomy. BIO-ISAC works with public and private partners as the central resource for gathering information and spurring the development, evaluation, and implementation of defensive tools. BIO-ISAC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, formally chartered in 2021

Since its founding, BIO-ISAC has hosted more than a dozen industry-wide trainings, regional events, and workgroups on digital biosecurity, cyberbioliteracy, and available actions to fortify the bioeconomy. BIO-ISAC has also addressed multi-nation incidents in biomanufacturing, bioagriculture, and data integrity, briefing more than 40 U.S. government agencies and departments.
